9th Ayurveda Day Celebrated at Sevayu Ayurveda Resort: A Focus on Innovation for Global Health

Sevayu Ayurveda Resort in Havana celebrated the 9th Ayurveda Day (Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health) on October 29, 2024, with prominent attendees, including Mr. T Armstrong Changsan, Indian Ambassador to Cuba; Dr. Cristina Valdivia, Director of La Pradera; Dr. Johann Perdomo Delgado, Head of Natural and Traditional Medicine; Dr. Alex Carrera from the Ministry of Public Health; and Dr. Beatriz Mancheco of the Cuban Academy of Sciences.

This year, the theme of Ayurveda Day is “Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health,” which has been specifically chosen to highlight the huge research work done in Ayurveda to establish the scientific relevance of Ayurveda in promoting health and treating various disease conditions.

This also highlights the relevance of Ayurveda for the healthcare of people worldwide, irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, social status, and geographical boundaries. The special focus on innovation would attract and inspire our youngsters to indulge in Ayurveda and establish startups.  

We also see lots of vibration, enthusiasm, and rising acceptance of Ayurveda in North, Central, and South American nations. As the world increasingly recognizes Ayurveda’s potential, Sevayu Ayurveda Resort remains dedicated to sharing this traditional yet ever-evolving practice with diverse communities worldwide.
